As a lasting tribute to Patsy Bates, our much missed long serving post lady and Parish Councillor, (amongst other things), Jerry Watson and I have restored her post bike, and the Horticultural Society (Christine and Ian Lawson) have provided plants and containers to complement the display.

It’s on Millenium Green (corner of West St/High St). Installation thanks to Kevin Cox and Pete Nottingham, sign done by Birch Tree cafè .

Let’s hope it’s appreciated and respected as her memory deserves.
