If you are interested in joining this new council, inputting to important decisions on the development and improvements in the parish, please do get in touch! Details below or contact any of the current councillors for more information.
Crime prevention - report, report, report!

Nothing can be done without evidence, but a picture can be built up with these small reports of information to enable further investigationsIf you have details of activity taking place near you, you must report it. If it is not urgent, use Crimestoppers or tel 101.
Residents are also encouraged to sign up to www.northamptonshiretalking.co.uk

You can also contact the Parish Council to discuss related issues, as there is a Parish Councillor Police Liaison Representative.
SEND IASS - Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service
This is a free, confidential, and impartial service offering information, advice, and support to children and young people with SEND, and their parents and carers. Their aim is to empower families to navigate SEND processes and access the right support.
Every day they hear from parents who feel lost in the complexity of SEND processes and from young people who want to have their voices heard. By providing clear information, supportive advice, and practical guidance, they can help families to feel more confident, less isolated, and better able to secure the right outcomes for their children.
They would like to highlight the free support available to residents who may not yet know about them. Contact details are - advice line 0300 373 2532 Further information and resources can also be found on www.sendiassnorthnorthants.co.uk
There is a leaflet on the council website for more information.
Park considerably, please
Bad parking is often a complaint from residents, ie that people park across driveways, too near to junctions blocking sight lines, on bends, opposite another parked car and, in the often narrow roads, this causes dangerous situations and inconvenience.
Please think before you park, and look around to see if you are causing an obstruction and if so, look for another space - even if it is a little walk away!
New residents
The Parish Council has a welcome letter for "new to the village" residents. The Post Office has some copies to give out and it is also on the council and village website. Please direct any new parishioners to them for useful information.
Next meeting
If you fancy it, the next Parish Council meeting is on Monday 13th October 2025, 7pm in the village hall.
